How much does Latisse cost?
Latisse is one brand of prescription eyedrops used to grow your lashes. A prescription for Latisse, which is obtainable only through a doctor, costs about four dollars per day. The 5mL bottle is $179 and will last about 10 weeks.

Do you need prescription for Latisse?
It's not a cosmetic like mascara: Latisse is a drug, and you do need a prescription for it from your doctor. The Spa at Atrium will be able to provide the prescription if you wish to purchase Latisse.

What happens if you stop using Latisse?
If you stop using Latisse, your eyelashes will gradually lose the extra thickness, length and color provided by the medication until they reach their previous appearance.

Does Latisse Really Work?
Yes, Latisse absolutely does work to enhance your lashes. Almost everyone who tries it notices an increase in length and sometimes an increase in thickness and darkness. You need to use Latisse on your upper eyelids for at least 8-10 weeks to get full growth and thickening of the lashes.

Who should not use Latisse?
A note on side effects and safety information: Latisse (bimatoprost ophthalmic solution) is FDA approved for the treatment of inadequate eyelashes (eyelash hypotrichosis). Do not use Latisse if you are allergic to Latisse or it's ingredients, have glaucoma, or are currently treating it with medicated eye drops.

Can you wear mascara with Latisse?
You can wear mascara and other eye makeup products while using Latisse.  Latisse is a treatment to grow lashes for those with inadequate or not enough lashes. If mascara is part of your daily makeup ritual, you'll want to continue using mascara. Latisse will make your actual lashes longer, darker and thicker.

How long does it take for Latisse to start working?
Latisse does not provide instant results. It usually takes at least two months before the lashes begin to thicken, with full results occurring within three to four months. In order to see full results from Latisse, you must be diligent in applying it nightly.

Can I buy Latisse over the counter?
Latisse ® is not available over-the-counter (OTC) as it is a prescription medication in the United States. In most cases, one cannot simply buy Latisse online as the first step is getting a Latisse ® prescription from a medical provider before a pharmacy will dispense it.

Can latisse be used to grow eyebrows?
Just like eyelashes, eyebrows can unfortunately grow to be sparse and thin as you grow older. Though Latisse is only FDA-approved for the upper eyelashes and we only recommend it for the upper eyelashes, some people have found success after using Latisse on their eyebrows.
