How many
treatments are needed?
The number of microneedling treatments you need depends on your skin tone and texture. Your provider will discuss your options with you and will decide how many treatments will provide you with the results you're looking for.
Usually, three treatments are recommended for most patients. For the best results, there should be at least four weeks between each treatment.
As the skin heals, it thickens and creates new collagen fibers. By waiting four to five weeks between each treatment, the skin can heal, and the needles can go deeper into the dermis each time. The deeper the punctures, the more profound the results, allowing them to last longer and your skin to become more resilient.
